Peter Friend is a New Zealand born science fictionwriter who won the Sir Julius Vogel Award for fiction three times.〔(Locus Index to SF awards )〕 His stories have been published in Asimov's Science Fiction, Aurealis, Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine(), and elsewhere.
